The Center for Logic, Language and Cognition (LLC) was established in 2014 by the Department of Philosophy and Education Sciences, the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Psychology.
The Center aims at promoting research on topics that cross different areas: logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, history of the logical-scientific thought, natural language processing, reasoning, artificial vision, psychology of thought, psychology of cognitive and sensory-motor processes, cognitive neuroscience. To achieve this goal, it will promote interdisciplinary exchanges among researchers belonging to different departments, thus creating a group that can share activities and interests.
The Center will:
- organize workshops and high level education activities
- support discussion and sharing of knowledge among its members through labs, reading groups, scientific meetings
- cultivate academic and international relationships with other research centers, through collaborations, workshops and conferences.
